At the end of March, more than 65,000 visitors piled into a Moscow exhibition centre for an annual building and interiors jamboree.
The event, MosBuild, is the jewel in the crown for exhibition group Hyve, and it was returning after it was cancelled last year. It also signified a rebound for Hyve, which said earlier this month that the quarter to the end of June had been its “busiest” since the start of the pandemic, with a strong recovery in eastern markets including Russia and China.
It held 18 events in the quarter, taking the total for the year to 28, while vaccination rates in western markets have given it more confidence about the months ahead, the company has said.
